Gabby Silversmith

Most evenings, you’ll find my husband and me enjoying the community we love, cruising around with our pups on the back of our golf cart—soaking in the fresh air and reflecting on how fortunate we are to call this place home.

As a full-time resident of the Bellalago and Isles of Bellalago community for the past four years, I have developed a deep appreciation for the natural beauty that surrounds us and the wonderful residents who make this place home. My decision to run for the next HOA Board stems from my desire to build stronger relationships with my neighbors and contribute to a thriving, engaged community.

I have had the privilege of contributing to our community in various ways, including:

• Serving on the Communications Committee, where I developed the widely-shared infographic outlining the key distinctions between the HOA and the Club—now proudly displayed in the Rec Center for residents and future homeowners to reference.
• Creating the BIOB Internet & TV Survey, which played a pivotal role in guiding the HOA Board’s decisions regarding the future of the Spectrum contract.
• Helping to create engaging community events by referring companies such as Ex-Amino Creations for the popular Paint & Sip nights.
• Handcrafting and maintaining the Free Little Library at the Amenity Center, inspiring a love of reading among our youngest residents.
• Organizing the annual Bellalago Summer Book Fair, which has now enjoyed two successful years and continues to grow.

Through my involvement in various activities, I continuously hear residents express their desire for transparent decision-making, and this resonates with me. With a professional background in property management and customer retention, effective communication is at the heart of what I do. I believe in fostering open dialogue and ensuring that every voice is heard and respected.

When elected, I aim to:

• Champion transparency and clear communication in all board decisions
• Work collaboratively with other board members, First Service Residential, as well as Castle Group to maintain and enhance the overall lifestyle of our residents
• Prioritize fiscal responsibility while addressing the needs of the neighborhood and concerns of our residents
