Dan MacDonald

Dan has resided full-time in Bellalago for 5 years. He has actively participated in the HOA Safety and Security Committee, with a focus on making the guard technology systems function as designed. Cameras, Internet, building wiring, and computers have all been upgraded to improve reliability for the guards. He has also participated in the selection of a fiber network to provide TV and fast Internet service to homeowners at a lower cost.

Dan’s interest in the Bellalago board is to resolve ongoing tactical items, while also focusing on three strategic areas:

• completing the HOA transition from Taylor Morrison to the homeowners
• resolving security at the back gates and 
• the future of “The Club”

In addition, open and honest communications with homeowners remains a priority. NextDoor and Facebook have become conduits of misinformation which is not healthy for our community.

Dan resides with his family at 2810 Boat Cove Circle. In his spare time he enjoys Disney, volunteers at Give Kids the World, and fly’s his private aircraft around the region. Dan is also a benefactor for at-risk families in Colombia including Fundación Mesas de Amor in Gachancipa and the FANA Orphanage in Bogota, among others.
